How to Enter

Obtain a colouring contest page from the Sparkles in the Park website or from the December issue of SNAP Guelph, The Guelph Mercury or Guelph Etcetera.

Have your child colour the picture with coloured pencils, crayons or markers only. They are free to add drawings of people, animals and other objects - be creative! Do not use glitter, fabrics or any other colouring methods other than those above.

Attach a piece of paper with your child’s name and age along with your name, address, phone number and email address to the back of the contest page. Please do not place any identifying marks on the front of the entry.

Drop off the completed contest page with contact information to the Rotary Club of Guelph’s booth at the Riverside Park Entrance, nightly 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. starting December 12th, 2009.

Contest closes at 9:30 p.m. EST Sunday, 19th December 2009. Entries must be received before this time. Sorry, but to be fair we cannot accept late entries.

Rules

No purchase necessary.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and accept declaration of the winner as final. The Rotary Club of Guelph and its agents are not responsible for any typographical or other printing errors, administration of the contest or announcement of the prize.

Contest is open to children ages 12 and under who are legal residents of Canada (except for residents of the Province of Quebec). One prize will be awarded to the winner of each of two (2) age categories: i) 7 years and under; ii) 8 to 12 years.

Each child can enter this contest once. If more than one entry is received by the same child, all except the first one received will be disqualified. All submissions become the sole property of The Rotary Club of Guelph and will not be returned.

Winner Selection

The winner will be selected bu the Rotary Club of Guelph.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no cash value.

Regulations & Limitations

Contest void where prohibited by law. Odds of winning are subject entirely to the number and quality of entries received.

Entrants assume all risk of damaged, lost, late, incomplete, invalid, incorrect or misdirected submissions. Children related to the current employees of Falcon Innovation Group Inc. are not eligible to participate.

The Rotary Club of Guelph reserves the right to disqualify and remove submissions for any reason within its sole and absolute discretion including any inappropriate submission depicting violence or not in the spirit of the contest.

By submitting an entry, ENTRANTS AGREE THE ROTARY CLUB OF GUELPH, ITS VENDORS, SPONSORS, ADVERTISING/PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS ("RELEASED PARTIES") WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE RELEASED AND HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANT FOR ANY CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY KIND OR NATURE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, NONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES TO PERSONS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DISABILITY OR DEATH, AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, NOW OR IN THE FUTURE FROM THE DELIVERY, ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE, ANY AND ALL USE AS PROVIDED HEREIN OF THEIR ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST AND/OR ANY RELATED ACTIVITY WHETHER OR NOT ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.
